About us

We are Esther & Menno—now in our fifties, but still just as adventurous at heart as when we bought our first house at number 206 in 1998.
With the help of Esther's father, Tom, we completely rebuilt the house.
In 2021, we had the opportunity to buy our neighbor's cottage. We demolished the old house brick by brick and, in 2023, exactly 25 years later, built a completely new house at number 204. A multifunctional home: for caregivers, for our son Thijs, for family from Australia—and of course for you, our guests!
After the unexpected loss of Esther’s mother in 2024, we completed the back house for Tom with extra dedication. As the step is still too big for Tom at the moment, we are now lovingly opening up this special place to our guests as a wonderful holiday retreat.

The B&B guest room is located in the front house: warm, cozy, inviting, and fully equipped to provide you with a comfortable stay. Our intention is for you to feel at home here right away. Everything here is centered around comfort, tranquility, and a luxurious sense of coming home.
